LPU | Navy is the New Black

Summer has barely started here in the UK, but in the world of menswear it’s almost at it’s end with Summer sales happening across the web to make room for Autumn and Winter.  I’m not complaining though, everyone loves a bargain.

It’s no secret as to how much I love (over-looking their delivery charge) the End Clothing web store with its combination of well known, independent and higher-end brands, so when I saw that “Sale” email notification pop-up on my phone, I quickly stopped whatever I was doing in the hope of picking up a bargain or two. And from there it was all downhill.

So what did I pick up in the sales?

Starting with the A.P.C Liverpool Tee in Marine, this was reduced from £75.00 to £49.00. I have always stayed well away from stripes, preferring a less ‘busy’ shirt, however, I really like this! The all-over striped design is finished off nicely with an appliqué patch in the lower right hand corner and has a nod to both the navy and nautical trends of summer. If the t-shirt wasn’t navy enough I also purchased the Adidas X Pharrell Superstar ‘Supercolour’ in Night Navy at £45 reduced from £67 (not pictured).

From Size? I picked up these New Balance 577 – Made in England in Grey/Navy. I had previously considered getting these a couple of months ago but not getting on with both the 574 and 373 models, I had decided that New Balance just weren’t for me. Seeing these reduced from £90 to £50 I decided to give them one last shot and turns out these ones fit perfectly. They’re also made in England, which is pretty cool!

I have combined the A.P.C tee and the New Balance with the Nudie Tight Long John jeans in Indigo, that I won over on Instagram, to create a casual summer look which is perfect for those days out exploring the city, followed by food and a few beers.
